COVID-19 & Illness information

COVID 19

Please can we ask that there are only two adults in the lobby area at any one time and please do not bring pushchairs/ prams into this area.

Children who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and where possible avoid contact with other people.  They can return to Pre-school when they no longer have a temperature and are well enough to do so.

It is not recommended that children are tested for COVID-19 unless directed by a health professional.

If a child has a positive COVID-19 test result they should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days after they took the test.

Children who live with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 should continue to attend the setting as normal

Illness

If your child needs calpol in the morning then they are not well enough to be in Pre-school. Please keep them at home until the temperature/pain is gone and they feel well enough to attend.

 

If your child has sickness and/or diahorea they must be kept at home for 48 hours after their last bout.

Children with mild symptoms such a runny nose, sore throat, or mild cough who are otherwise well can continue to attend the setting.
