COVID-19 & Illness information
This guidance for Early Years settings was updated on the 1st April 2022. Please find below information on how we would like to proceed as a Pre-school.
Mask wearing in the lobby of the Pre-school is a personal choice. We will continue with the process of only two parents in the lobby at any one time.
Children who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can return to Pre-school when they no longer have a temperature and are well enough to do so.
It is not recommended that children are tested for COVID-19 unless directed by a health professional.
If a child has a positive COVID-19 test result they should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days after they took the test.
Children who live with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 should continue to attend the setting as normal
Children with mild symptoms such a runny nose, sore throat, or mild cough who are otherwise well can continue to attend the setting.
If you are unsure whether your child should attend Pre-school please telephone the staff on 01993 774594.
